General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide this website and to answer your enquiries. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified, for example your name, your email address or your phone number.
This website can be used without providing any personal data. You decide for yourself whether to contact us via the form, by email, by phone or on WhatsApp. There is no registration, no user account and no login here.
Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by an external provider. The provider processes the data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Hosting provider: enter the name and full address of the host.
When a page is called up, the server automatically collects information that your browser transmits and stores it in what are known as server log files. This usually covers:
- the address of the page or file requested
- the date and time of access
- the volume of data transferred
- the message indicating whether the request was successful
- browser type and browser version
- the operating system used
- the page visited beforehand, where the browser transmits it
- the IP address of the requesting device
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically faultless operation and the security of the website. This data is not combined with other data sources. It is not evaluated for advertising purposes.
Contact by email, phone and WhatsApp
If you contact us by email, by phone or via WhatsApp, we process the details you provide in order to answer your enquiry. Depending on the channel, this includes your name, your email address, your phone number and the content of your message.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation of a membership, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. Where you have consented to the processing, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR is the basis. You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
WhatsApp is operated by WhatsApp Ireland Limited, a company of the Meta group. If you write to us on WhatsApp, your phone number and your message are processed on the provider’s servers. This may involve data being transferred to countries outside the European Union. We have no influence over this processing. If you wish to avoid it, please use email or the phone.
Contact form on the home page
The form for requesting a trial session sends no data to a server. When you click the send button, your browser assembles an email from your entries and opens it in your own email program. Whether you then actually send that message is up to you. Processing of your data therefore only begins once you send the email yourself.
The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR on account of your consent given via the checkbox in the form, and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation of a membership. The text of your message is held solely in your browser until it is sent and is not stored afterwards.
Should an external form service be used in future, this section must be replaced in full and the service named here. See ANPASSEN.md.
Fonts
This website uses the Archivo and JetBrains Mono typefaces. The font files are located on the same web space as the site and are served from there. No connection is made to Google Fonts or to any other external service. Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any third party for this purpose.
No cookies, no analytics, no tracking
This website sets no cookies. No analytics services, no reach measurement, no advertising networks and no services for tracking user behaviour are used. There is no embedded content from social networks and there are no social media plug-ins. We do not create profiles of visitors.
Map link to Google Maps
On the home page, next to the address of the hall, there is a link that opens a route in Google Maps. This is expressly only a link, not an embedded map. As long as you do not click the link, no data whatsoever is transmitted to Google.
Only when you click the link does Google Maps open in a new window. From that point on, the privacy terms of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland apply. This may involve, among other things, your IP address and your location being processed and data being transferred to third countries. You will find more on this at policies.google.com/privacy.
Storage period
Server log files are deleted automatically after a short time, usually within a few days. We keep enquiries made by email, phone or WhatsApp for as long as is necessary to deal with them. We then delete them, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this and no membership has come about. If you become a member, further processing is governed by the requirements of membership administration.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the following rights:
- access to the data processed about you pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR
- rectification of inaccurate data pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR
- erasure of your data pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR
- restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR
- data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR
- objection to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR
If you have consented to processing, you can withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR. The lawfulness of the processing carried out up to the withdrawal remains unaffected. An informal message to the contact details above is sufficient for all of these matters.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Under Art. 77 GDPR you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your data infringes data protection law. The authority responsible for the club is:
